I grew up in a small town on the coast of Maine with a dream of going west. After receiving my BA in Philosophy and Media Studies from Scripps College, I’m stoked to say that dream has materialized… and then some.
From living on the North Shore of Oahu to Tahoe to Indonesia, I’ve been lucky enough to travel the world, meet some incredible people, and tell their stories along the way.
My writing has appeared in Pacific Longboarder, Powder, Surfer, YÜTH, Daybreak, The Inertia, and The Encyclopedia of Surfing, among others.
My photography has been profiled by The Surftime Journal and Canvas Magazine. I have covered events including two Eddie Aikau Invitationals, the Rip Curl Padang Padang Cup, countless WSL Championship Tour Finals, Red Bull Cascade, and many more.
I currently work at Saatchi & Saatchi as the Outdoor Adventure Community Content Specialist for Toyota Trucks.
When I’m not working, I’m searching for pow turns, glassy waves, or the next great book (which, to me, is almost anything by Stephen King).
