I grew up in a small town on the coast of Maine with a dream of going west. After receiving my B.A. in Philosophy and Media Studies from Scripps College and years of full-time global travel, I am now happily based in San Clemente. I work for Vans as a Digital Content Coordinator and write the surf column for the San Clemente Times.
I also work part-time for Matt Warshaw at the Encyclopedia of Surfing.
Previously, I was a Staff Writer and Photographer at The Inertia, a News Writer at Powder and a Deputy Editor at The Surftime Journal in Bali, Indonesia.
In 2023 I was selected as one of five finalists for the Follow The Light Surf Photography Grant Program.
